Here's wishing you a day full of football, family, friends, and FOOD!!  Pumpkin pie...here I come.

It was wonderful.  I bought a book at the Denver airport to read during my three hour layover......"Loving Frank" by Nancy Horan.  Oh, my word.....I just finished it.  You will get sucked in and then just about die at the end.  You must read it.  Charlotte Lyon's was talking about it in my last class with her on Saturday.  I'm glad I bought it.  Emotionallly draining, but good.  I even cried in the airport at parts...dumb ass that I am.  :)

My oldest turns thirteen today...he's officially a teenager...oy.   I was sicker than a dog yesterday and I'm still recovering, so it won't be much of a birthday.  We did let him pick out his own presents on Saturday....he got a computer game, Stargate Atlantis DVD, and a Star Wars toy.  He can't open any of them until he gets home from school today.  He was so happy that today is his birthday.....he didn't even mind that I was so out of it that I forgot.  He's such a sweetie. 

Today, my baby turns four.  Where has the time gone??  We waited patiently for him to wake up and then all went screaming into the room and pounced on him.  He had such a good time last night....watching the children (trying to peek into their bags to check out their candy) and running around by the fog machine.  He went as a zombie child...just smeared some fake blood on him (okay, added to what he got on himself).  I was surprised he tolerated it being on his face.  He had so much candy last night...uck.  Well, back to this morning.....he got five 3-2-1 Penguins DVDs from Grandma and Grandpa.  From Jr, Clark and I he got "Sumo of the Opera" dvd, a veggie tales tshirt, coloring book, and a "Sumo of the Opera" playset (and a bubble machine that he doesn't know about yet...he is on his third one..oy).  He looked through everything first and then got down to the playset and he got a wonderful, happy smile on his face and he kept it.  He was so excited.  You have no idea what that means to uus.  I almost cried.  We are going to take the boys out for a birthday meal later this afternoon..courtesy of Grandma and Grandpa...we are thinking the Steak and Shake.  It's hard finding somewhere to Billy...he is getting better though.  The Steak and Shake has fries almost like my Mom's fries.  We've only gotten take out, so it should be fun.

May you get...whoops strike that...may your kids get loads of candy (which in turn you steal).  Okay, confiscate....you're protecting your children from all those weirdos who tamper with candy.  That is the line of bull my husband fed me the other day.  Have fun, play nice with others, and don't scare too many children.

I want to wish my parents a very Happy Anniversary!  Too bad they both have to work today. :)  They've been married for 38 years.  In twelve days it will be my sister's birthday....what to get her...I've been collecting up little bits and pieces here and there for a few months.  It will probably be late....this is me...I used to be the "always-on-time" one...no more. 

Whoops!  Wrong celebration.  I've been blogging for a year now...oy...woohoo....I've been boring people to tears for a whole year.  It snuck up on me and so I don't have anything fun planned.  I'll come up with something later.  Back to work. 

I'm trying to clean out my shop.  I've marked down most of my stock....let's move this stuff out.  I need to get all that other stuff out of there, so that I can bring in some new stuff.  Tell your friends, your family, your enemies...come by and shop.  http://www.MayMouse.etsy.com  All sorts of fun stuff...things for Halloween, vintage books, trims, vintage purses.  Sorry, the evil doll faces have been sold (thank goodness...they were creeping me out).  But there are loads of other things. 

Billy is getting better.  He signs and says "go" really well now.  He has finally managed to get his arms to go in the right fashion.  Too cute.  He says some of the letters and tries to sign a few.  We've been working with Clark (teaching him how to sign the alphabet.....Billy loves it so much , so it is good that Clark learns it too)...I swaer though....I may have to break off his pinky, if he signs "d" incorrectly again.  :)  Billy can repeat 1, 2, and 3.  He even tinkled in the toity at school the other day.  It's probably a fluke....but we'll take it.  Much progress has been made, but still there is a long way to go. 

Last night, Billy tried on his Dad's birth control glasses.  He can make even birth control glasses cute.  He was having a good time wigging out his eyes.  Well, Clark got up and grabbed the camera to take a picture and while we were looking at it....Billy went and grabbed a book and put it in the spot where Clark takes my photos for the shop.  (Books are the last thing Clark photographed for me and Billy was there for it.)  Then he grabs his Dad and makes him come over for a photo shoot.  It was so cool to see that he remembered and wanted to do it again.  I think he just wanted another picture of his baby toes.  It almost made me cry...in a very happy way.  I love it when he does stuff like that and just amazes me.  He likes to say "Hi" now as well and he uses it in the right context.  Very cool.

I've been busy with school starting and working on my store.  I love working on things for my store.  It is a lot of fun and it is nice knowing there are others out there just like me...a tad off. :)  I've managed to hit over 20 sales, so I'm really proud of myself.  I had thought of trying it for so long and I'm glad I finally just did it.  We all got sick last week....I'm the last one.  Blah.  Baccus is doing well and is spoiled rotten.  I think the dog eats better than me.  :)

Woohoo!!!  I can get something done this afternoon.  Billy is in the afternoon preschool class again.  I'll miss the boys, but I am happy that school is starting. 

My Pops called earlier today with bad news.....he is in the hospital.  He had chest pains yesterday and was taken into the nearest hospital.  He had a stint put in tonight and is doing okay...just very tired I guess.   Dr. Donnie called all of us to let us know he got out of surgery okay....even though he is a Physical Therapist he made it all sound so much better...love you, little brother.  Winnie...it will be okay.  I'm just very tired myself and kind of out of it....much calmer than I ever thought I would be.....I guess I get that from my Pops....who was joking about it all with me on the phone.  Oy.  Baccus is adjusting to family life with us very nicely....Billy likes to go into the little fenced off area and hang out with him..on top of his kennel thing.  He giggles when he gets licked.  He has tried to pet Baccus several times..it's so very nice.  The two big boys are head over heels for that pup.  They got him two new toys today.  They are so happy...it's awful sweet.  Just the smiles they get on their faces when they get near him....big sigh.  Well, Billy is a very, very tired little boy, so I need to brush his teeth in case he falls asleep.

It took them even less time than with Billy.  We just got back from picking up our puppy at the local shelter.  He is a black male Terrier mix.  Clark will probably have a picture of him up later tonight on his blog.  He is so happy and so is Jr.  They have been wanting a pet ever since Mr. Nemo died back in 2005.  We hope that the puppy will be good for Billy as well.  We have heard good things about dogs and autistic children.  Right now though he is learning the joys of Reddi-wip (which he thinks is ice cream). 

I'd like to wish my sister and her husband a Happy Anniversary.  They've been married 14 years.  Happy Days of '47 as well...to all my fellow Utahns....they'll understand. :)

Today is Billy's last day of summer school and then he has off until school starts.  That is on the fifth of August.  I'm wondering how far he can regress in that time period.  He has been a wild and crazy child the last few weeks...climbing on stuff, getting into stuff.....toothpaste and toilet paper were his friends yesterday...oy.
